How to  potty train a boy?

Answer:

Potty training is one of the inevitable routines your little boy and you would have to go through someday. The rule of thumb is to provide a little bit of an encouraging “push” when the boy is old enough, but not too much as they need to be potty trained at their own pace.

You can start your little boy with his own separate potty. Start him sitting for both peeing and pooping. Postpone the skill of standing while peeing until later when the kid can properly control it. You might want to turn over the “aim” training to dad.

A common practice is to sit the boy on the potty chair when he wakes up every morning and after naps. Watch for signs of “poop faces” – the slightly contorted face babies and toddlers make when they feel like releasing their bowels. As soon as the poop face shows up, usher him to the potty.

You can also try some wacky tricks and games during potty training. One example is throwing some fruit loops cereal into the potty. Challenge him into how many fruit loops he can hit or sink when peeing in the potty while standing up. You can also lay claim that the “diaper fairy” have taken all the nappies away and now he’ll be training to conquer the potty. Eventually he will catch on.

As with the time, it differs for every boy. It can take for a few months, to 6 months to more than a year. Just be patient and don’t rush the kid. Be creative. Play games. Stimulate his interest and make it a fun challenge for your little boy and he will definitely catch on.

I would like some input on this, which jogging stroller should I buy. I have twins and am really eager to get out of the house and do some exercise again. I'm looking for a jogger that not only looks good but really is good. Price is not a problem, it just needs to be reliable, sturdy and maneuverable.

What is the best jogging stroller for two?

Price not problem, I'm just looking for the best.

I'm looking for a compact double stroller for my two kids. At the moment I have a Joovy caboose which is okay but is to bulky for things such as vacations, travel and fun things in the park and zoo.

I have a look at the Chicco Double a few days ago and to me it looked like a great lightweight double stroller. I would like some input on this and if anyone came across other decent side by side double strollers.

I bought a Fisher Price baby monitor but it's awful. All I hear is static and would love to find out which one has a clearer sound. What I have now is useless.

This is basically a testament to the Baby Signing Time videos (www.signingtime.com ... plus some proud parents bragging about their little one. No signs were being demonstrated for her, she had them memorized. She had just turned 14 months at the time of the video.
