What brand and type of baby monitor would you recommend? I didn't read or looked into all the different types of monitors on the market. What features would you say one needs? Video, or sound only, digital or analog. I definitely do not need a big screen monitor. Just curious about the ones that say vibrate, digital, sound only, etc.
And What Brand do you recommend??

I bought the Fisher Price Private Connection Monitor and am happy with it. The reason is that while I was pregnant I was a nanny at a family who used it. The audio was so good I could actually hear their baby boy breath while the monitor was at the other end of the room. That why I bought one for my newborn daughter as well. Sometimes you hear a little static but nothing serious. I can recommend this baby monitor

A few of my friends bought BabyView20. It has a great video screen, and it allows for night vision.

The audio is really good, there’s no interference from other devices in your house. Everyone I know has had a is happy with this monitor. It can run on batteries, so you don’t have to worry about a power-outage. It even plays a selection of lullabies that you can control with the monitor. So you can calm your baby down without getting up out of bed. It’s a very good baby monitor and actually really cool!
