Signing in Auslan is not signing in “English” …
Auslan is the sign language of a country where English is the dominant language, but they’re different languages.
@Imralu actually, Auslan is the sign language in Australia. They have British Sign Language/BSL in Great Britain and American Sign Language/ASL in the USA. There is also Signed English as well. Auslan, BSL and ASL use a different grammar to English, while Signed English uses English grammar.
And I picked this up in one lecture from the man who coined the term Auslan.

I’m not sure why you said “actually”, since you didn’t contradict anything I said.
It’s incorrect to say signing in Auslan is “signing in English”.
