My step son is 2 and his mother hasn't even started potty training him! I heard it takes longer for boys, is this true? My daughter wasn' fully potty tained at two but she used to potty chair and was in pull ups.

My son is 16 months old...I'm thinking about starting to potty train him soon. Are boys harder then girls? It took me forever to potty train my girl she didn't get potty trained until she was 4 years old. I started at 2 years old with her, the only thing that worked with her is having her with no underwear for a week. That made her completely potty training in a week time period.

I have boy that will be 2 next month, he is showing a lot of interest in the toilet. he takes off his diapers, loves wearing underwear over his diaper, flushing the toilet for mommy. I have a 22 month old son that i want to start workin with a little bit but i havent pushed it too much as of yet. I've bought a potty chair and tried sittin him on it and stuff but i havent made it an everyday thing or anything. but from ya'lls personal experience when did ya'll start working with your little ones. My baby turn a year old on Aug 29th. He's not quite walking solo yet, almost there though. Maybe a couple more weeks. Anyways, my mom bought him a potty chair for his birthday.
