When I hear your story there’s only one brand to choose, BOB. The best when you want a real jogger and not just a fancy jogging stroller look a like.

I have the BOB Revolution and it fits me perfectly. Like you I have twins and love to exercise, and hate those fashionable semi jogging strollers on the market.

They look like a jogging stroller, but once you used them you know that those strollers are build for anything but jogging. BOB on the other-hand is.

The BOB joggers are not really cheap, but in my experience worth every penny. I highly recommend that brand

We bought the Phillips Avent digital baby monitor. It’s not the cheapest solution but you absolutely won’t get any static because the monitor is digital. We are very happy with it and it also shows the temperature in the baby’s room and plays lullabies and more features. It works for us

The best jogging stroller I’ve ever got was the Jeep Overland Stroller. Back in 2008, when we got it the stroller had a very good rating in the Consumer Reports.

I believe there are two types of jogging strollers, those meant to be used by serious joggers and those meant to be used in every day city life. Guess it has to do with fashion. When you’re the type who’s planning some serious jogging go for joggers with one large fixed front wheel.

The models with the adjustable front wheel can be used like regular strollers, but the wheels make actual jogging very hard. Thus, if you are a jogger go for one large front wheel, if you like the stroller for other reasons buy a model with swivel front wheels for added maneuverability.

I had never heard of this before, but I was intrigued. Every hospital has different policies, I’m sure, but I couldn’t find anything specific at any of the hospitals in my area. However, I would consider the website below to be reliable and they suggest including music in your birthing plan, so apparently it can be done most of the time. Hope this helps!

i will have my ipod with me. Not sure if I’ll bring the speakers because i want something like led zeppelin, pearl jam, coldplay and basically LOUD music. it helps me when I’m under pressure lol

the hospital will probably allow it but as for me I was so annoyed with any sound during my contractions that I actually asked everyone to just stop talking while I was having one. After my epidural it was better but I don’t think music would have let me concentrate on pushing because it’s really hard to tell when you are contracting with an epidural. But you can always turn it off if it becomes annoying for you… So go for it =)

I had music on for the entire labor, delivery and recovery for my daughter. My husband and I love music as well and it really gave my something to focus on during contractions and to pass the time.

However, you might want to bring your own small radio and CDs because stations these days tend to play the same 4 songs over and over and that will get extremely frustrating after 5 hours.

I plan to have my MP3 player. I’m the same as you, obsessed with music. But I’ll need it to keep me distracted.
I’d think that if you had requested it ahead of time, bring your own equipment (a SMALL cd player and some CDs, or an ipod dock) and keep it at a respectable level for other patients they’ll allow it. Double check with your doctor though.
